Southfield Site Visitor Centre
Last week the Newark Air Museum made a significant step forward in the proposed development of the new Visitor Centre project on the Southfield Site. This involved the submission of a Pre-Application to the local planning department for the project and associated access etc. Full details are on the News Page of the museum website.

Sadly nothing forthcoming from 'new-builds'.
Much of the previously advised Southfield Site infrastructure work is now almost complete; this has seen around 1,800 sq metres of hard standing area laid down during the last few weeks further details can be found here!

As part of the development of the Southfield Site the museum has been noting the biodiversity of its site.
In view of the regular posts of wild birds on different parts of the forum I thought that I would highlight the species list that has been noted at Newark; full details can be found on this link!
