Classic Flight Nightshoot, Airbase, 11 Dec - Souptastic

Post by PhilW »

My first attempt at nocturnal, moving aviation. Really enjoyed it. Just about thawed out. Gotta do it again.

Nice pictures Phil. I like the NImrod shot taken through the spray of the fire engine. I am in the background of one of them in the distance. A great event arranged by the Classic Flight. Thanks to all involved. Look forward to the next one.

Is that one of the BBMF Chipmunks I spot in a couple of the pics? Also is G-AORG still based on Jersey or has it moved to Coventry? I've seen it a couple of times at Jersey Airport but was unsure if it was still down there?

No the Chippie is Classic Flights G-APLO,painted in a similar scheme.

It is now possible to book and aerobatic flight in it,the only one of its type on an AOC!

The Heron is at CVT for engineering work,it is hoped that it will return to Jersey sometime in 2011.
