Top shooting as ever, the retro jet looks stunning in that light, and I'm rather drawn towards the 1 Sqn special as well

Stunning photos Tom. I went on 3 visits to Cottesmore on recent years at that end, only to find the base not operating
and ending up at Coningsby each time. I'm glad that you've captured these incredibly detailed and beautifully lit photos
to record for posterity the events that occurred here this week in such amazing clarity.
I've seen the Lightning, Buccaneer, Phantom and F3 all go during my time watching these machines but this one really
seems to hurt for some reason. Perhaps because we have nothing in place to replace it.
Awesome shots and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Bob.

Outstanding shots! I've been busy the past few days so haven't been able to keep up with what's been going on with the Harrier this week. I've just been looking at all the brilliant pictures posted on here though and have just realised how much I am going to miss the harrier. I feel really bitter about it for some reason as it is such a sad and great loss to not only our military might but also to our national identity. Thanks Mr Cameron, you and your cronies have made a bad decision and I hope one day something will happen which will make you all realise you've made a grave mistake.

For me the first shot is absolutely wonderful - I love the angle, the framing and the lighting; one of the best photos I've seen in a long while
