You've probably seen most of these before, but I couldn't resist a look back at the most menacing of British helicopters. These were taken at a mix of locations out on the Salisbury and include aircraft based at Middle Wallop with the AHTU, at Boscombe and at Wattisham with the various squadrons from 16 AAB.

Hi Tony, you really performed a very complete photo collection of Apache.
I like the complete set, but my favourites are the first, the Apache at sunset and the last image...
You are very afortunate to catch these machines...

Although I have been photographing for years,I have never sought out rotary areas.
Are there viewing areas or do you just go where you want,in a safe manner?
