Squadron 8 [UPDATED]

Post by Chucky »

Hi all !!

This week there is another milician squadron flying the F-5 from Sion. The last two days I was lucky enough that some flights departed on runway 07. I used the 300mm and the x 1.7 on some shoots !

Just airborne and 30° bank to avoid the city

Captain Scarlet is indestructable, you are not. Remember this, do not try to imitate him.

All I can see is 15 little boxes with a red 'X' in the middle... They all look a bit samey, if you ask me!!!

Not at all sure what the problems is - but two of them opened just now, including No.14 - and I can see why you are enthusiastic. A great shot, indeed... Wouldn't mind seeing the rest, though, but all I get is little x-filled boxes...

I'll echo the other comments. Sadly we don't see enough of the F5 in the UK. Superb set of a fantastic looking aircraft.

Lovely shots from a great location, number 14 is the shot for me too, nice background. Did you take these from the embankment to the south of the runway next to where the Venom/Vampire are hangared?

You were privileged indeed. I'd love to go back but I've been there five times in the last five years and (1x Geneva - long weekend, 2x for Axalp & 2x for holiday) what a country!
