After nearly 10 month flying from the North-Runway at Manching is now after main overhall the South-Runway open since 09.02.11
Here some Impressions from the last day flying at the North-Runway during diff. weather conditions

2nd Flight of EF2000 GS0050/30+68 is
another Flight of GT0017/30+59
One of the first flight of the trial Tornado ECR "ASSTA3" after there avionic up-date
to ASSAT 3
and visitor from Donauwörth Gabon AF EC.135 0956/TR-KCZ (D-HECK)

'Kodak' is in the tower! Those guys were posing and you were shooting some great images. The first Tonka shot looks like the driver is quite busy. Nice.

Superb stuff, and the Gabon EC135 to top it off. Is the ASSTA3 Tonk the original ECR jet? Thought that had been grounded...?

The GS217 comming out direct from the final assembly as first ECR trial a/c with f/f 30.11.88. The normal ECR was start with GS256 f/f 26.10.89
Avionic up-date ASSAT 3 will get the IDS and ECR Tornados.
