Last week completed a busy few days for me with a visit to Switzerland for the Cour’s de repetition, a 3 week period of intensive flying training at the beautiful air base at Sion. With snow still on the mountains you would be forgiven for expecting cold weather but the weather turned out to be glorious and warm for the duration of the week.
At the end of this thread there are also a handful of photo’s taken in Bulgaria the week before, but as I’ve not had time to sort through them yet I tagged them on the end of here.
Hope you enjoy and comments/discussion welcome…..

Blimey, you've been busy. What a wonderful set.
I've been to Stans once myself but still can't believe cars have to stop to let aircraft cross!
Fantastic shots of the F-5's and that Hornet on finals with the fort in the background. Stunning scenery.

Hi Rich,
It seems to be a bit of a tradition when ever I've visited a Swiss airbase that the last flights of the day usually participate in a practice emergancy scenario. On this occaision they used 2 aircraft where the pilots just dumped them at the end of RW07 and then 'acted' as if they were unconsious until they were rescued. Hopefully they arer better pilots than they were actors! The fact they put them in one of the best spots for light and photo's was just luck I guess.
Cheers;
Kevin
