the on-line advance ticket ordering facility ended at 2000hrs yesterday(Thurs 28th April)..the final batch being processed and despatched today(fri 29th April)

There will be tickets available on the gate on the day,but if you live local enough the Tourist/Visitor Info Points in Abingdon,Didcot,Oxford,Wallingford,Wantage and Witney and the Wearhouse Store in Stratton Way,Abingdon should be able to help you with Advance Tickets right up till next Saturday

Well display items such as the Vulcan and Tucano go over to Brize or will they be direct from their bases? Just thinking of a plan B for the weather...

V-bird is operating from Doncaster, not sure on the Tucano.

As in one of my earlier posts, DE have not sanctioned the couple of Jets or Heavies to operate from Abingdon, but everything else will ie: Tucanos / Tutor etc etc.
Sat rehearsals around lunchtime.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I assumed they would have classed a Tucano as a 'fast' aircraft and not allowed it to land...

Tucano simply classed as a prop!

As stated on another post, the Vulcan is combining a currency flight together with its first display with us before returning back to base.

They usually stay till Monday as RAF Benson is usually closed at weekends

OX13 6JQ will get you to Barrow Road,Shippon and the Southern Entrance to Abingdon airfield whcih is the Public Entrance to the show

Basically travel along the A34 till you come to the Marcham Interchange/A415....come off the A34 here and follow the yellow AA signs leading to the Southern Airfield Entrance in Barrow Road,Shippon

Current BBC online weather forecast - Hail shower ! (TV version indicating rain)...thats even worse than last year (and the ground is probably too hard to get the fishing brolly's in ) :roll:
