RAF Waddington 080511; Return of the Vulcan

Post by CH2 »

The plan was to display our T61F at Abingdon, but WX forecast's soon put an end to that plan. So attended the excellent GA day at Waddington. To be honest caught on the hop with the Vulcan, which made a low pass over our heads from the west, climbed, then banked to bring it down 02/20, with a climb out and then on to Cranwell.

No doubt better will follow today from Abingdon.

Thanks for looking, it would have been nice if we could have made it to Abingdon :sad:

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Once again (screwed up on Friday) I missed some great opportunities through ill preparation;
Lesson relearned;
Have the right lens
Have the battery in the camera, not in the bag
Check your settings (the first shots were taken in AI Focus, which is useless)

Simple stuff, should know better.

I was glad I got one that I could be reasonably happy with.
Cheers,

Chris
