Aviation in Nottinghamshire

Post by NAM Updater »

The Newark Air Museum now has available a FREE 48 page A5 publication that provides a guide to Nottinghamshire’s Airfields & Aviation Memorials.

Details about how to obtain a copy can be found here!

We have available a zipped PDF file of around 4MB in size that can be emailed out; if you would like to receive a copy via this route please PM an email address.

Alternatively if you’re unable to get to the museum or the locations mentioned and you would like a copy; if you PM a postal address then I will make arrangements for a copy to be sent through.

As the front cover strap line says “Remembering our Aviation History” hopefully some of you will be interested in this new publication.

Wider distribution has begun with copies having been taken to Ollerton (Sherwood Heath TIC); Edwinstowe (Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre) and up to WAVE at Waddington.

Also copies of the booklet have been posted off this morning in response to the various requests that have come through.
