Shuttleworth evening airshow a different view

Post by Jamie »

I spent most of the show down by the Lysander at the end of the runway to get a change of angle. Some mixed results again, partly the camera playing up, but mostly down to me being stupid! Again the wind stopped the WWI planes & the Edwardians, but it was still a good show. The Gladiator display was the highlight for me.
Cheers, Jamie.

Excellent - nice to see something a little different.

Storch taxiing over the brow of the 'hill' for me - smashing shot.

these are just wonderful, a real new look to the Old Warden show, the Lysander close up is a gem also the Tomtit/Avro Tutor combo.......

Thanks for the comments guys, very much apprieciated. I thought I would play around with some shots in monochrome & slightly softened. They are edited in Picnik on Flickr, its quite an easy program to use. Anyway here they are. Comments & critisisms welcome.
Cheers Jamie.

Jamie,

Nice selection from Saturday at OW.  Nice angles on all the shots. Nice area that you and Ashley found on Saturday. Definitely a different view from there. I also like your second set with the softened and monochromatic looks. The softened look make it appear to be a "period" photo.

Well done!

Very nice Jamie. Good to see something different and also some close up details, which are all too easy to miss.

It's definitely worth experimenting with different vantage points at OW.

All the best,
Ashley

Jamie, these are terrific. I especially like what you've done with the B&W picture of the top of the Lysander.
