Chinook on static is a nice addition but why can't we have Neil McCarthy's newly repainted JP flying instead of him being static and another (and probably not as good) JP display in the air?

I would guess the Provost Pair are those operated by Cooke Aviation at RNAS Yeovilton. The aircraft are used as crew trainers for the Royal Navy Historic Flight and are both former Kennet Aviation machines. They performed a splendid routine at last year's Duxford Spring Air Show

What day did the CN-235  land last year? I may pop over to Cosford to see it arrive but if it's Friday, I'm buggered!

It was a CN-235 last year

But I'll try and find out from the tower if the French are coming Friday or Saturday this year.

With there being only just over 2 weeks until the event is it likely anything else will be added to the flying display or is this pretty much everything. I was hoping for at least one more large display team as i said in a previous post.

Got to love a Yak display team! Is radio cosford on again for the show this year?

I agree but must admit I strongly prefer the Aerostars both are great however. As for radio Cosford i would think so as the travel advice on the web site advises you to tune into radio Cosford when close enough http://www.cosfordairshow.co.uk/travel.html

Going slightly off topic guys, the Yakolevs are a great and welcome addition to the show but I can't seem to find any info regarding the Aerostars display dates for this year, their website only shows the 2010 display season.

Am I missing something? (Probably age related?!)

Yes, my error, probably a typo on their behalf, but it does say on the website "The team is currently booking for the 2010 season"

Anyway, glad their still around, for me they are a highlight of any airshow.
