Krakow by night

Post by Bartek »

I think almost every English guy already been in Krakow ;) but maybe some of you do not know that next to Balice airport there is also military airbase with whole bunch of Casas and Bryzas. Usually you cannot expect breathtaking action there but few times a year it is really worth to visit 8th Transport Air Base. This time Commander gave us chance to catch choppers from 56th Combat Helicopter Squadron during temporary deployment to Krakow (moutain flying). Among regular and well known Hinds and Hoplites we cought newest Polish Army toy: W-3PL Głuszec - modernisation of armed Sokol with machine gun in nose turret, Toplite head, LCDs and HUD in the cockpit etc.
Here are few shots from that nice evening:

The W-3 shots, #s 13 and 14 are utterly godlike.

Absolutely knockout photo's Bartek!! I really like how you have managed to capture the moving rotor reflecting the light as though to give a halo effect! Well done sir!
