Post your Pumas...

Post by TonyO »

Haven't done one of these for a while, but I thought we could do another seeing as we are getting into the Autumn.

Post any Puma images you want, whether it a Puma, Super Puma, Cougar, EC225 or EC725 and whether its built in France, Romania the UK or in Indonesia.

Rules are three images per post, but as many images as you want. It would be great if you could provide an explanation as to where and what you have snapped!

So go on...post away!

SA330 Puma of the French Army Air Corps taken at EA-ALAT at Le Luc.

Great start Rick, and Kev I have so been waiting to see these, fantastic to see the Turkish Cougars you got at Cigli West!

Here's a confined Cat, somewhere out on the Plain!

And finally, a Luftwaffe AS332 Cougar of the FBS VIP flight taken at the Berlin ILA show in 2010.

If so;

A slightly colder CHC Puma, I believe this is an AS332 L2. Also at Aberdeen-Dyce

Nice stuff Stephane, really like the Spanish Cougar!

Really wish I got a better angle on this one, easily the rarest Puma I have snapped...Royal Saudi Naval Forces doing a ground run at Marseille.

Swiss Cougar at Meiringen with a lovely backdrop.

and a civvie, an EC225 operated by Bond Offshore on a lovely sunny day in the Granite City!

Three new countries. All scanned from slides:
Belgium. The Rijkswacht/Gendarmerie had three classic SA330L Pumas until the early 1990s.
Image

Argentina (Coast Guard). SA330L taken in 1996.
Image

Brazil (Navy). AS532M1 Super Puma in 1996 during a cruise on board the carrier Minas Gerais (former HMS Vengeance).
