Indian Navy P-8I Poseidon

Post by expat1 »

Seen on the flightline at Renton yesterday is India's first P-8I Poseidon. Aircraft 'IN320' differs from the U.S. Navy versions in many ways, one of the most obvious from this angle is the refuelling recepticle above the flight deck.

Prefer them in Ryanair colours TBH

Probably will stop off in the UK, they must need at least 20 refuelling stops to get the thing there

Nice pics. Interesting to see the MAD boom sticking out the rear of the aircraft. Maybe we can buy some secondhand P-8's in a decade or so.....
Cheers

Nah, give it another 30, maybe we could afford some 90 year old, third hand, desert stored Trackers?
Cheers,

Dave. Yeah sorry, though trust me, I really do appreciate being able to capture some of the things that go on in this neck of the woods.
All in all it was a great day which started with this and ended with the ANA Dreamliner in the new delivery colors.
Sundays don't get much better than that.
