Dubai Airshow 2011 - updated

Post by Global Ranger »

Another Dubai Airshow, suggested to be the last one at DXB (see - Al Maktoum International (DWC))...who knows where this show will actually be in 2 years time. One of the attractions of this airshow (for the non-trade visitor: spotter, photographer or enthusiast) has been unrestricted views of the local DXB taxi-way/runway system close to the exhibition complex. This year however, temporary fencing and more officious policing restricted opportunities for civil landing photos (although possible), good news was that display aircraft still made it into the sunny sky !

21 quick edits from the show (Sun - Mon).

PS I thought the new UAE aerobatic team were really original, hopefully a RIAT/Farnborough item next year.
