Testing! From when the RAF had a bit more diversity..and the weather seemed better. Plenty more where these came from if anyone's interested.

The 1991 IAT was the one I missed the Tornado F3 display completely ...stuck somewhere in deepest Fairford village itself!
but nevertheless a tremendous show,went on the Sunday in great weather,great take off's and displays from XH558 & F15 etc,and a bit of a Phantom lovers paradise that day I would think...
the only downside for me was the Mig 29 display was abandoned shortly after take off,but you cant have it all!

Brilliant pictures, seeing pictures like this of the old Tattoo shows makes me wish i was born earlier than i was (was only 2 in 91)
