If you read it correctly it doesn't say that they missed the invitation; it says that Slovakia was inadvertantly missed from the list of nations on the list at airtattoo.com.

The keen-eyed among you will have noticed that the list of invited countriesbelow omitted Slovakia. The Slovaks have been invited; it was simply an error on our part. Indeed, the observation was highlighted to us by 'a friend' in Slovakia who suggested the country has shown an interest in participating in RIAT 2012. We are in the process of finding out more.

Read it correctly; they weren't missed on the invitations list, it was an omission from the list of nations at airtattoo.com which has now been corrected.

Perhaps it was already mentioned, but I was just checking the Farnborough airshow page and noted an F-22A, B-52 and F-18 (among others). Hopefully this means there is a chance we get a return of the Raptor this year.

You're viewing list of aircraft that appeared in the flying display at FIA 2010.

The U.S Navy has released the first set of dates for the Combined U.S. Navy Tac Demo (F-18E/F) schedule and unless Boeing do the display again doesn't look like RIAT/ Farnborough will get it..

The display at Farnborough and Fairford is usually provided by Boeing's test pilot Ricardo Traven using some borrowed aircraft from VFA-106/125 or new aircraft straight off the line at St Louis.

Are they actually looking to attend Roma though? It could, of course, be their list of invited teams on the website...
