Cockpit-Fest 2012 - 16 & 17 June, 2012

Next years Cockpit-Fest has managed to retain its normal weekend in June despite the changes caused by the Diamond Jubilee and Olympics and takes place on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th June.

Booking forms and information sheets will go out as normal in the New Year but as a pre-Christmas treat an album of images from the 2011 gathering has been uploaded into the NAM Gallery here.

A further album will be uploaded later to show some of the other exhibits from 2011.

A third Cockpit-Fest album has now been uploaded and this shows exhibits at the annual cockpit owners gathering going back until 2004. We hope that it may interest some of you!

A bumper update has just been added to News Page – this lists the 13 cockpits that have now been booked in for the 2012 event.

To assist buyers and sellers at Cockpit-Fest 2012 and the summer Aeroboot the museum has reinstated a listing facility on the museum website for items that different individuals and groups will be bringing along to sell.

The museum is starting to receive a lot of enquiries about this forthcoming event and to help a brief information section has been added to the website!

In addition there’s been an upswing in bookings for the Aeroboot, with 6 more stall having been booked in over this weekend and there seems likely to be an additional visiting cockpit to be confirmed. Further updates will be added to the museum website as they are confirmed.
