You weren't lying about knowing nothing about football were you...

Keep Capello, and its going to be the same old boring story. It wouldn't be suprising if he brings back Paul Scholes for the Euros

He's also got team morale to contend with, the very same Scholes was recently interviewed on Football (not soccer) Focus and admitted during the World Cup huge rifts between groups of players, not least of which was the Man Utd players and everyone else. Until they get all the players motivated to play for their country and want to play as a cohesive "team" then I don't see us doing particularly well in any competition.
Who should be Captain? Who know's but whoever it is needs to want it (which rules out Rio F) and be able to be a leader on the field, if I had to chose I'd go for Gerrard.

I would certainly like to see Harry Redknapp replacing Cappello for the Euros and I think Steve Gerrard will be captain but Scott Parker is a good choice if he ever gets the chance.
As to John Terry its meant to be innocent until proven guilty in this country not trial by media , But if I had been him I would of step aside until the whole case is settled as that would of relieved a lot of flack and press attention from the team and the manager. Although I do not feel Cappello has brought anything good to the side I can understand him being upset that the FA are masking decisions on his side without consulting him.

Like I said before, they can make the goalie captain if they like,it wont win England anything, the captain might shout and wave his arms, but no one should be able to hear him if they are any good......they should be too busy
ever since Alf Ramsey was sacked I've heard the names put foreward of every decent(allegedly  )manager in the British Isles,to name just one top class manager of the English divisions, there was Don Revie.....here was a manager who was banded an 'absolute certainty' to win us the world cup, apart from a cupboard full other trophies....yeah,right!
If I were 'Arry,I wouldnt dream of leaving Spurs for England, part time England maybe, but since when can any man manage two jobs like that....dont mess about, give it to Jose!
seriously I would love Jose to have a go myself(not that I think it would happen!)but even he would have to be a magician to win anything with England,ah well...carry on Fabio!

Great news. Shows how the £6m a year man rated our chances for the summer...

Redknapp part-time for the Euros, then Psycho Pearce to pick up the baton, with plenty of his superb U21s, for the World Cup qualifiers.

I'd be chuffed with 'Arry even in a part time capacity, alongside his Spurs duty. I doubt Daniel Levy and Spurs fans would be though.

Capello should have gone after the utter shambles of the World Cup.

Looks like Mourinho will be leaving Madrid in the summer, so maybe he can take over Redknapp at Spurs.

That'll be alright, the FA can just appoint a helper to sit with him, and when he's good he'll be awarded with a special sticker

Well even though we lost I think it was as good an Ingerlund performance as I have seen for a long time. And Scotty should have been motm.
