ITALIAN ARMY Aviation Battalion - Validation
ITALIAN ARMY Aviation Battalion - Validation
This week I was lucky to 'embed' with the italian army aviation to follow the validation of the Aviation Battalion that soon will go to Afghanistan.
This exercise was the final phase of a six months training that all the units (ground and air) must do before go to the hot zone.
Every mission is made as if they are for real in AFG...the aim of the exercise is to increase the cooperation between all the units that soon will work side by side in a hostile environment.
Hope you like

They are just stunning
Re: ITALIAN ARMY Aviation Battalion - Validation
Outstanding, best rotary set this year
Re: ITALIAN ARMY Aviation Battalion - Validation
Super shots of the Mangusta. Not a helicopter we see very often.
Re: ITALIAN ARMY Aviation Battalion - Validation
Simply great set with lovely colours and composition throughout. Shame there is not a tad more rotor blur in the Chinook shots but we all know how awkward they are!
Re: ITALIAN ARMY Aviation Battalion - Validation
Really great. I love Mangustas and "gunner" shot.

Spectacular set, but my pick of all of them goes to the venerable Huey!
Author of CULT OF THE WYVERN, a novel about Westland Wyverns and aliens. (Really.)
