RAF Lakenheath - highlights from an amazing 23/02 (Updated)

Post by Zymurgy661 »

Today saw a lovely trip to RAF Lakenheath both outside and inside the wire. This is just a quick small selection of my highlights from today. More shots will follow over the next day or so -

1. F-15C landing after an early morning sortie

4. The view from the tower. I could have stayed here all day!

5. Not much chance of me ever forgetting this Pave Hawk pass!

Cracking shots. What was the reason for the visit - organised tour?

Thanks for all the comments so far. I've edited a few more for your enjoyment. I've tried to stay away from the usual Lakenheath angles for something a bit different (except the tonka again!)

Thanks. Haven't been on one for a few years now, didn't realise they allow you up the tower now.
