well firstly thanks to everyone whos helped me collect bits and info
special thanks goes to Ian at Adastra Masks for making the masks and decals for me
this is the first of 2 special tornado builds that im planning the next being a F3
any way this is what shes ment to look like in the end
and this is what im using
3 kits just in case 2x italeri and 1 x airfix
aftermarket stuff
airwaves gr4 conversion
loads of resin
paragon wings aries seats
eduard F3 etch (for the undercart and airbreaks)
CLBS
loads
and finally the masks for Adastra, now i have never ever used these so this is a learning curve
well i just need to clear the bench of the hunter and tomcat then this will begin

I have done three of these in my modelling career and I can assure you it is the wrong way.
Hopefully you can see it in the attached image above...

Re: 41 Sqn Tornado ZA600
No worries. Best of luck getting them off. Might be best to cut them off and remake the arms to the flap.
Also remember to make the wing pivot point larger by 2mm at the rear which will enable to you push the wing forward further as the original italeri kit's wing is too far back and has a gap at the front of the wing glove...

Re: 41 Sqn Tornado ZA600
well ive been up all night throwing up hence im not at work, so while im felling ok
ive done a little of the tub, the side rails are from a f3 etch set, i cant find them on a gr4 piccy but im 90% sure they are there
bit more touching up to do and re painting of the black bits
next up, is the APU exhaust, and airbreak bays

Re: 41 Sqn Tornado ZA600
ok burner cans in, i thought they would be a straight fit, but no you have to extend the hole to get them in
and ive added the intakes and wing shoulders, all filled
more filling and sanding to come
