Vulcan in the Sky
Hello,
The Vulcan has always been very high on our to-do list to photograph it air-to-air. With the support of the Vulcan staff we were able to have a photoshoot with the Vulcan on the ferry flight after the 2011 Abingdon Show. Our trusted Skyvan was the photoship and after the flying display, the mighty Vulcan joined up behind us. The great sight and sound was just awesome, one of the most remarkable photoflights we have ever done. The Vulcan crew showed the aircraft from all sides which resulted in some unique photographs over the English countryside.
1. What a sight, Vulcan joining behind the Skyvan:
2. Photographing out of the Skyvan doesn't always mean head-on shots, a good briefing can result in a great variety of photographs
3.Passing via Brize Norton
4.Over the countryside
5.Left turn
Many thanks to everyone who made this unique photoflight possible! Hope you like the result as much as I do.
More photographs and a nice video can be found on our website: www.aviation-photocrew.com
With kind regards,
Tom Houquet

Is it coincidental that the stills remind me of the excellent Planes TV Vulcan Interactive DVD?

Fantastic.
Checked out the rest of the set on your website and am amazed! My favourite is the shot that has the interior of the Skyvan on the right hand side and the Vulcan looming in very close!! Wow.
