Just finished watching the BBC show - highlights were much better edited than they were for the qualifying show, and in all other areas the BBC production was much better than Sky.

Real analysis of the events, spoke to drivers up and down the field and the video montages etc were much, much better. The AC/DC intro was cool. I like the new title sequence too, the one they used for the last three years was wafty.

I enjoyed Ben's commentary. Sounded a little bit nervous at times perhaps, but should soon settle - his enthusiasm and knowledge of the sport was obvious though, unlike the new recruits to the Sky team. Seems like him and DC really get along - I thought they made a good pairing in the comm box.

Not an ideal scenario to have the highlights and I might feel a bit differently if there's a race weekend where I'm forced to avoid the result and wait for the BBC show, but I guess it's better than nothing.

I'll deffo be tuning in to the BBC for their live races though - much better product than Sky.

I to was pleasantly surprised with the BBC highlights ,with likes Martin and gang going to the other side,well done the BBC glad I didn't bother with the sky package.

well first time i never got up for australia, havnt got sky, had a nice long sleep in and managed to miss any thing about it till 2 o'clock, and glad i did bbc coverage was brilliant, yesterday morning watching qualifying on a live stream on the lappy nearly made me go for sky, but will just get use to the new bbc way

After watching the BBC race highlights i realised how much i am going to miss the live coverage from the BBC, Jake is a much better presenter than Simon on Sky and much preferred Ben's commentary to Croftys. I will certainly be tuning into the BBC for their live races, as has been said before the BBC's program felt so much more complete and better produced.

I certainly was disappointed with him on Saturday. But he sure did show me on Sunday. Absolutely awesome drive, good to have him back!

Perez too deserves a shout out for his drive, from the back of the grid to a solid 8th.

To be fair to the Sky coverage, it was their first time and the BBC have been doing it for years so I would expect the BBC to be better. I watched on Sky 408 live but time-shifted and thought it was decent enough.

Definatley not getting sky so we will be sticking with the Beeb, Virgin wanting an extra tweny quid on top of what we pay alreday when we are on the top package as it is, and its not even in HD. No thanks.

Great race though was gutted for Williams so close to getting the points. Some great pace throughout the field all the teams look a lot more competative. Bring on Malaysia.

Great drive by young Perez definitely one to look forward to in the future and all credit to Alonso for winning (and putting on a rare smile!)

Wow! would never have predicted that podium, great drive by Sergio oh so close to the win but nonetheless a cracking drive, also a good drive from Alonso to get the Ferrari on the top step.

Disappointing race for JB come in contact with the HRT with a clumsy move and then the tyres not working for him

Roll on China and hopefully the fantastic racing continues

Whilst its understandable that drivers can react abnormally in the midst of frustration, there is a certain line that shoud be stuck too, and name calling isnt it. I do not agree it was fair to punish Narain for the incident, IMO it was Vettel that moved over on him, though it could be argued that he should have backed off. I think he's used to having life handed to him on a plate, as it was last year. Tough!

I always knew Vettel was a cry baby. Winning back to back championships is fine, but when he doesn't win he goes into crybaby mode. GO BUTTON!

Was that not the best race for a very long time!? Huge well done to Nico Rosberg. Thouroughly deserved the win he's achieved. Also well done to the McLarens for a good race, though might be better if they can get through a race without buggering up the pitstops next time...

What a race!! action all through the field. Fantastic pole and win for Nico well chuffed to see him take his maiden win and hopefully the first of many to come.

Gutted for Schumacher after the first stops and again lousy pit stop from McLaren... if only they had a clean stop it would have been good to see Jenson and Nico fight it out for 1st.

2012 season is shaping up to be a season to remember so far

Nice to see a new winner. Shame though that McLaren bodged JB's last stop - could have been a really close and tense finish for the lead without that mistake.

What a great race, action from start to finish, even the drivers couldnt beleive it!

The other thing I noticed was how much better the BBC are at putting the whole F1 broadcast together, from the chemistry between Jake, EJ & DC the suit buying was hilarious, to the relationship with the drivers, couldnt see Damon hill racing remote control cars around Mclaren HQ

I am starting to like the Sky coverage more and more, now that Simon has gotten over the awe/excitement of being an F1 presenter and being in the pit lane and paddock he is beginning to relax and presenting the show a bit better. Martin and Jonny were brilliant i felt Jonny did a better job than Damon and the post race analysis from Ant was absolutely brilliant, i just hope they carry on having longer post race programmes in the future to keep all us F1 geeks happy

Fantastic race on Sunday, so happy for Rosberg and it was a very good result for Mclaren. I thought Norbert Haug was about to start dancing at one point

Let's face it, F1 should not be in Bahrain this weekend. But Bernie rules with an iron fist, what he says goes. Money rules F1, hence why they're racing round soulless desert tracks devoid of history and spectators in the first place. Very brave of Force India to make a stand as they have done today.
