As much as i like supporting every Air show i go to unfortunately as their a week between RIAT and farnborough i cant afford to go to both on my wages
.I decided to buy tickets for RIAT. but i would still like to attend farnborough

i suppose you could say it's Farnboroughs version of Totterdown at R.I.A.T , position wise, though the sun can be a prob for photograpy, as you are looking straight at it, if it shines....

what days had you planned on going? it's just that at the Eelmoor end there are lots of parking restrictions airshow week, so you are going to have a bit of a walk, also there is a entrance gate aswell which is used and a high perimiter fence, so it will be a bit of a mare to be honest. I do think your best bet is either Southwood or the Swan pub end.
