50d any good?

Looking at a new body and been put off the 60d by some of what I have read. Am now thinking a good 2nd hand 50 might be not be a bad bet. Would love to hear from anyone who has some experience of it..any good?

Bought a 50d refurb body a couple of years ago, not had any problems just the dreaded "error 99" twice but that's fixed by taking the battery out and putting it back in. Getting to grips with it more now, tho still keep the 350d for static work. Probably like you didn't go for the 60d because of memory card compaibility. Feel more confident and adventurous with the 50d.
