. Lets get this straight. It's clear that Legends isn't everyone's cup of tea but for the life of me I can't see why. Ok the debate over the photgraphic merits of Duxford will split the forum down the middle it seems but can we not agree on one thing? Legends provides the best chance of seeing and hearing, never mind photographing, the largest number of "Warbirds" at one airshow in the UK, maybe Europe or even the world. As such it is to be welcomed in my eyes and ears, as it truely is an aural experience as well. Mr Grey, so far as I can gather, organises the show and invites who he wants to. There are probably reasons why those that do not appear at Legends do not appear but that is an issue between those that organise the show and those that choose to, or not to, appear. For me, time off in the Summer is a precious thing (my choice of business and my problem) and I choose to spend it at Legends and RIAT and as many other shows as I can in the time allowed. If you don't enjoy it, don't go. If you do, don't whinge about it, just don't go this year and we'll all have a bit more space on the crowdline to enjoy it.
