Very Nice!

You picked a quiet time to visit - with a flying embargo in place so as not to disturb HRH Prince Michael of Kent who was opening the new sports centre.

You're kidding? So I can come see that Mil-4 in person then

I agree with RD, the dark clouds certainly make a great backdrop for the shot  If I could be so bold as to say, IMO if you were to chop off part of the port wing in the final shot, to drag the fuselage to the centre of the image, I think it would look better. But that may just be me

Thanks for the comments. Mark, I took a chance that somebody important was coming and the weather wasn't too bad. John

Thanks Arthur, sorry I never got back to the PM, internet has been slow as I've moved and used a dongle! Will reply to your PM tomorrow when I'm at work (broadband)

Hi Wes, Tried your suggestion with a different shot. Not sure if it looks too compessed.

I like that John  , but as I say, it's probably just me that thinks it's better, I am rather odd

I prefer the original image to the cropped version, think it looks better sitting off-centre.

Thanks for the comments. Static shots don't do much for me, I prefere to see them flying.
