(Mostly) RAF in FSX

They are some fantastic screenshots

I have three questions

1) Have you upgrade the sky scenery? if so, which package?
2) Which Jaguar is that?
3) Which Hunter is that?

Cheers

Thanks!

The Hunter is Alphasim's although a very good free one exists too from DG Designs, the Jaguar is Ukmil's and the sky is upgraded with REX.

Absolutely awesome.

Loads to ask like - how did you set up fairford with the buff on the pan and was that multiplayer?

Which hawk is that?

Looks awesome anyway. I feel I haven't even scratched the surface of flight simming so i'd really like to - especially seeing these shots!!

Brilliant.

Also - do you know any way to get hold of that hunter now alphasim is bust?

Thanks

Alex, ask anything you like!

The Hawk is from Skysim, and you may find the Hunter being sold as a Virtavia product.

The shots with two or more aircraft are all compositions from more than one sceenshot, although I gather recorder software is available to enable similar results in the sim. Except that buff in the background which is just part of the scenery, vfr airfields, I think!

Mostly RAF, but I like the B52 overflying the tin triangle! Some really great shots and I really enjoyed the Hunter pair - nice idea!

Thanks for the comments, both.

The Voyager is by Thomas Ruth. The RR engine models are available as a separate download, because the MRTT pack comes as an RAAF one. Finally the RAF paint is my own.

Love the Hunter pair too.
But I am biased and actually got to do it in "real life"

Sound is okay, I think the preview video on JF website shows the audio?

As for flying I think it's a very reasonable representation. Tops out at altitude at 2.1 ish, but isn't excessive in acceleration off the runway. Take off and landing speeds seem appropriate.

I was told there were a lot of discrepancies in this package, nose wheel steering was added, is this true? was thinking of buying the sim, but need more screen captures and feedback from anyone who has this.
