Looks pretty smart, I like the Belgian colours on the tail - shame we cant do something similar with the Typhoon.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing more shots of it.

Look forward to seeing the F-16

Let's hope the rumours are true  There might be a No.3 (F) Squadron special tail typhoon in a couple of weeks :ninja:  Now lets hope for a miracle and No.6 Squadron get a special scheme for the display jet

No.

Via D200:
An aircraft equipped with flares is considered to be 'armed', and the big headaches come if it lands armed rather then an aircraft that joins from elsewhere and departs without landing.

Ah, that's a shame! No flare firing for the Belgian A109 Solo in the UK this year then....

Unless it operated from Shawbury of course...

The Dutch F-16 operated from Brize Norton in 2010, and still didn't use flares.

Brize doesn't have the facilities to host flare-carrying aircraft as that's been one of the "Why no flares at RIAT" questions. Baffled me a bit but that's what was said.

That's a strange one, as the RAF C17s carry flares. Unless they operate from elsewhere when doing flare trials etc? :dunno:

I like it, a lot simpler than the previous one that I thought was just a bit too clever and became :dizzy: Nice to see national colours back too- the Dutch were always good at that...

I think she looks good, certainly follows in the footsteps of the two/three aircraft preceding her, with the flowing lines and the different shades of blue and gray.

Suspecting a translating programme error here of "Il n'a pas volé". It should be "It hasn't flown yet"
Interestingly, Google translates the infinitive form of "voler" as "fly", so just slightly inconsequent. :dizzy:
At any rate, cheers for the info!
