I will most definitely be going, as engineering assistance to the LPG, agree that last year was awesome and am sure this year will be just as good if not better.

I'll most certainly be going. Last years event was superb. The sight of three Buccs coming over the crest of the hill together was worth the entry fee alone!

Clashes with Abingdon and Old Warden if it is. Such a shame having 3 great events on the same day.

The site I usually look at to find out about this kind of thing didn't have Sunday's event at Bruntingthorpe on the calendar, so I only found out about this yesterday. Luckily I didn't have anything planned so should be able to go

Also does anyone know what time the gates actually open? Their website says 'gates open typically at 9am'

And can anyone give us an update as to what isn't serviceable, thanks.

It's gonna be a chilly one though with light easterly winds, but will be dry and partly sunny. Winter hats and warm jackets at the ready, maybe even through in a scarf! ...So just a typical May day then!

Gates open when a queue starts so aim for 9 if you like.

What's unserviceable? Hard to say - I left today at 5 and various aircraft had been engine running and more were being lined up ready for tests. Nothing's obviously missing from the line-up as far as I'm aware. Only one Lightning running not two though of course.

There will be a couple of surprises on display... (if anybody's spotted them this week, please keep schtum!)
