Surely the flying display is nearly full if not full when/if the Black Eagles confirm.. So any additions from now on would be static only?

I've heard some shows are about to mont-de-marson, however impossible to obtain the acts.

You are quite right, didnt mean that I assume they will come to Waddo instead. Just meant IF there is space in flying or budget waddo maybe able to get the Belgian F16 for example. maybe silentflight can tell us if they are full up in the flying?

I was just intrested in seeing what the French show had, of course we should not expect anything no longer going to Avord to turn up at Waddington.

I'm not sure how much space is left in the flying display would be nice if some space could be found for the new Gnat display team but with a number of countrys still in talks over what if anything to send to Waddo I guess they are waiting to see what else is sent before booking more civil flying displays.

Ref Avord, sorry no space in the flying programme but are looking to pick up statics if possible.

Unfortunately no space at present for the Gnat Display Team,at least one aircraft plans to be in the static park with an option to fly if flying display items drop out.

You've got to feel sorry for the Royal Jordanian Falcons then! :lmao:

Good luck, Waddo team. Let's not forget what was down to attend Avord in the static display! I look forward to the announcement of the Slovak MiG 29 + L-39, Qatari Mirage 2000 and Swedish Gripen!

Well there would be no real reason why the Mirage 2000s cannot make the extra few miles with the transports to Waddo, it would be rude of the not to.

Dear silent flight and touchdown

Are the timings of the flying display fixed or can it start earlier like at RIAT? Is waddo allowed to have an 8 hour display?

That could accommodate a few select displays.

Also with avord being on Sunday only any chance of getting any more French air force stuff for Saturday?

If the jordanian falcons wanted to come back to waddo would you take them back and give them the blades slot?

P.s. Slovak mig 29 would be awesome

In short yes and no. Yes we can have an 8 hour flying display, there is nothing to say that we can't, but practicalities, working times, traffic, transport, budgets, policing and numerous other factors have to be taken into account. With regards to the Armee D'Lair, we are still waiting for further statics to confirm. With regards to the Royal Jordanian Falcons, it would be unfair to now cancel another team after they cancelled with us. We would truly love to see them come back to Waddington, but we simply dont have the time to fit their display in now, but their is always 2013!

Personally I wouldnt want to see the Jordanian Falcons back. They are nothing special and certainly not any better than the blades. I rather show my support to the british display team out of the two. No doubt they will have some snazzy paint scheme for 2012.

Gotta say if I had to choose between the Jordanian Falcons and The Blades, it would definately without doubt be The Blades which would get my vote.

Have picked Waddington and Leuchars as my two shows for 2012 and I prey and prey for good Weather for both.

RAF statics are coming up on the radar, but UK statics are always the last to confirm as their planning is normally only a month or so in advance!

Anniversary 2sqn Tonka, 3sqn Tiffie and 100sqn Hawk essentials at moment I'd say and see if one of the Army Bell 212s is available as they seem to be getting about a bit.
