Indeed. Some superb images. Thanks for sharing.
Re: Kandahar by night
That is without doubt some of the finest photos I've seen in all my life. You've bled the situation dry and made the most of what was there for you.
Personal favourites are the first and last Tornado photos. Outstanding.
People, take note!

Best post so far this year, superb
Re: Kandahar by night
Those are staggeringly good. The black and white stuff particularly!
Re: Kandahar by night
The A-10 and the third Tornado shot stand out for me. Excellent.
Re: Kandahar by night
Crickey, all stunning!

These are outstanding, every single one of them!!
Re: Kandahar by night
One word....stunning
Edited to add more words. The first half dozen are absolutely stunning and the series of the last Tonka pictures are also incredible, and the last one makes my blood run cold, very descriptive....
Well done.
Cheers,
Jeff.

I know you think you understood what I said, but I'm not sure you realise that what I said is not what I meant.

Re: Kandahar by night
Has there ever been a case where most of the pictures of the week have been from one thread and one photographer? If not I think that precedent might soon be set. Brilliant set of shots

Re: Kandahar by night
I've come back to comment again - they're brilliant! Number 4 is another corker.
What's the pattern under the wings in shot #13? Tails being moved during pre-flight checks?
