Those T2s sure look nice in 4 sqd marks, do you know how many there will be on strength.

Hi. Canon 55k. Someone said at Yeovilton that there are 38 T2's, but was not sure how many were going in 4 sqn markings, or other sqns /storage etc
Rover Driver. One of the locals said that it was going to be put together then it was going to be taken over to the Navy Historic Flight site to be stored/displayed Too stop any rumours it is as a STATIC exhibt it will never fly.
Some more from Thursday

28 T2 [aka hawk 128] were purchased by MOD for UKMFTS training use. now numbered as 4[R] Sqdn, 19F has disbanded leaving 208 as the Valley T1 operator, with 100 & FRADU & Reds.

Thanks Hawkkeeper. Bet you wish you could have some T2's. Are FRADU likely to get some in the future as the T1's go or are you likely to be the last T1 operator. Starting to really like them, the nose reminds me of the Jag's nose abit.

very much doubt we will see T2 hawk, but we will see our current T1's until they are retired, what happens after that is anyones guess.
