My experience with the app last year was poor so I hope they have improved it this year, especially for the display days.

Looking at the schedule now, the timings are all wrong and there are a lot of gaps in between acts. For example, the F-16 is on at 15:41 but the next act on after that is the RAF Sea King and that starts at 16:06!

Typhoon, Cartouche Dore and other 'new' participants (app-wise) are listed in the Aircraft section, though have yet to make their way onto the schedule! Doubt it is the final lineup, otherwise we seem scheduled to have a Chipmunk displaying for half an hour!

Weather forecast for Sunday looks blinding, about time after that April! Decent little line-up, looking forward to it...

That's for sure and some difference from last year's show which although dry was very windy and cool and kept many displays on the ground.

In fact wall to wall sunshine is forecast so the "naughty field" looks like being busier than usual to avoid "sun-in-lens" syndrome!!

As at 12th May, the last update of the participation list, yes. Keep an eye out on the IWM website where the pdf is periodically updated.

Hah - yes the wrath of UKAR. Actually I was being provocative, not being a "naughty field" supporter, but I though it might stir the debate! But seriously, I am sure the weather will make a difference to those who do head in that direction.

To get south side , park in the Duxford village then find the closed off road that will take you over the motorway and the airfield is on your right
You will see people in the fields and gateways , its up to you how far down to the runway you go , we tend to stay about 100 m off the road but have been right down to the edge of the perimeter before
Hope this helps

Weather is looking beautiful, sunburn all round :P

Will be the first time I have been with my new camera, and obviously I was hoping to be able to get some good shots, but I am bringing my sister for the first time and can't really expect her to not be right in the middle of the action lol, I want her to really enjoy her first airshow, I'll still have a go of course, they would have probably all been rubbish anyway; sun or no sun, first airshow with ANY half decent camera haha!

Really looking forward to it though, October was such a long time ago... :D

Bruggen you can park your bike in the overflow field if its open or you can park near the petrol station (the western end) i think you get a much better view from the western end .

They are not on the IWM participant list and the RNHF web site has then as TBC.

I'm down Duxford for the next 4 days so if I get home early or not suffering from heat stroke  I'll run a thread in Airshow Photos.

On the Typhoon calendar? Yes!

I'll be inside with my Dad on the tank bank (taking advantage of the buy one adult, get a senior ticket free) so say hello if you see me!

Shame to hear Snafu won't be airbourne but looks a stonker anyway!

I'll be making my way to this one by train then bus. Second time to a Duxford airshow, should be a fantastic day with the current line-up, the forcast hot weather, and company (I am going with my brother and a friend). Not sure where i'll be last time was at the taxi way bend just down from the tank bank, but might head there this time

App has updated again.

Typhoon is starting the show at 14:00 and it finishes at about 17:25 with the Spitfires. Two Chipmunks, Jungmeister and Hurricane Z5140 have been added to the list according to this app.
