Yes I suppose it is quite a journey for a 12 minute flying display. However the hawk seems to be able to manage it.

Good news, Lowestoft has been on the calendar for a few years now - but this year it looks like it's confirmed.

Also Marham Families Day has the GR4 role demo, so hopefully we'll see it over at Lowestoft too.

Marham usually have a station role demo rather than the No.XV(R)Sqn demo team apart from last year when they were heavily involved in Op Ellamy.

No.XV(R)Sqn demo team are down for Yeovilton too, so i'm guessing Lowestoft might get the demo team and Marham's will be performed by one or more of the based squadrons. Depends what the RAF policy is on 3 "displays" in a day ..

looking to be an absolutely brilliant air show this year, lowestoft back to its best!! I was slightly concerned going up against such a large show as Yeovilton but seems it has gone in lowestoft's favour. Now we need the weather to play balll.

Well done to the organisers for getting the Typhoon, lots of other big seaside shows including Portsmouth, Eastbourne and Bournemouth have all missed out on it this year.
