La Ferte-Alais Saturday 26/05/2012

Well worth the trip. Could not have wished for better weather. It must have been very warm but a nice breeze and low humidity made for a sweat free day and saturated blue sky.

Thanks

Martin

Super set from what looks like a great airshow, and a lovely venue too.

That Paris is a quirky little thing, looks to have quite a few seats?

Thanks for your kind comments.

The Paris was meant to have been a 2 seat trainer for the French Armed Forces but it lost out to the Fouga Magister. A four seat version was then built and some 50 were sold to the French Air Force and Navy as a liaison aircraft and training. The last one retired from military service in 1997.

A last few more pictures. More can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/martin_a_o_eames/sets/

Thanks

Martin
