309th AMARG overflight 03-04-2011

Gents, 1st post on here so go gentle! I was lucky enough to spend 5 days in Tucson last year, and spent most of it doing AMARG, 2 overflights, 4 bus tours & the fence. DM AFB was closed to flying (runway resurfacing) so we was very lucky to have clear airspace! Anyway, a selection of shots for you, hope you like! Ray

Have spent ages pouring over this fantastic set - well done. Pictures like these always leave a tinge of sadness at all the old girls parked up. The F111 shots made me think why the Ozzies couldnt have transferred over their F111's instead of burying them in the back of beyond. More please....

Fantastic set, I agree that it is a sad sight to see all these amazing machines laying dormant.
A pipedream I know, but........... If only there was the money and inclination to get some of the "never again to be seen in the air" examples, such as the S3 Vikings, F14s and F111s, back to flying condition!

I've seen AMARC from the air at a distance ,but your shots are really impressive
