I spent the weekend at a very grey and chilly Malmen. This was my first foreign show, so despite the naff weather and distant display line for the jets it was really enjoyable. The memory of walking over the crest of a hill and seeing the Viggen, Draken, Lansen, Hunter, Tunnan and 105 lined up next to each other is one that will stay with me for a while!

So, in no particular order, here's a selection from an exciting weekend...







































I can't wait to go back next year for the Gothenburg show (hopefully in better weather too!)

Great set Dean - obviously the Viggen and Draken are highlights, but I really like the composition of the four Gripens on the taxiway too.

I don't think there is a tyre problem...looks more like a fast taxiing turn on a slightly inclined taxiway??

A fine set indeed, the PC7 line-up with all the reflected lights on the wet taxiway steals the show for me!

Correctamundo. The aircraft was taxiing at quite a speed and leant at quite an angle when turning on to an adjacent taxiway!

Ah, thought I read somewhere it blew a tire and assumed that was it. Correction duly noted

It still looks like it had a bit too much ale from the "barrel"...

No you are correct! The aircraft blew a tyre on landing after its solo on the Saturday, blocking the runway for about half an hour before while they replaced the tyre.
