Thanks James
When you mention pastels i will show my ignorance here and ask if they are the chalky ones that artists use as i did not know that you could do that. As for the stencils they did make me swear and i have to admit that i nearly didn't bother with them.
Any way onwards and upwards and as for future WIP,s i shall do some more but it is a time thing and no other reason.

Doug,

Just a standard cheap artist pastels

Use a stiff brush while wiping away the excess before you apply it to the model.

You need to do a 'How to..." I think James as I would be interested on how you would use them.

Alan

Will have to finish something first...

Are you after just the standard weathering (grey and black) or staining (such as the yellow on the f3)?

Hi Doug,
Firstly I have to say that looks excellent, even more so with the small amount of weathering.
Glad between the two if you, that you sorted out that nose wheel.
Now were are you going to put it and make room for all the other F4s.
Well done again and keep it up.

Doug - follow the video exactly and you wont go far wrong. Remember though that post weathering with chalk pastels does not reap the same benefits on a Gloss finisgh as it does on a Matt finish. The affects on a Matt finish scheme can be stunning.

Oil streaks, worn panel lines etc. all look great, just remember slowly and build it up.
