Full E-3D display would be a rare treat

That would be great. Seems pointless going to all the hassle just for a single flyby.

There have been some pictures post on the commercial airline message board on here of the Korean airways 747 being unloaded. The black eagles aircraft have been moved to raf leeming for assembly and testing I believe. Ben

Guys, we have 15 days until the show. Just because one report says we're going to have a crap summer, doesn't mean that every, single day will be like that, and to be honest....do you honestly take everything you read in a newspaper as being 100% truthful and accurate? Come on.

Only 15 days to go now! I hope there will be a few exciting additions added to the line up over the next few days. I'd love to see a typhoon or two and a few interesting foreign additions added too the static line up (lakenheath eagles, something Canadian or Croatian).

All I'll say on the weather is that a month ago they were predicting temperatures of -6, and that the temperatures would be winter-esque, well that hasn't exactly happened has it?

Look out of the window on the Saturday morning, that will be the only way we'll really know what weather there will be that day!

and they are probably right, only this is not a rare event, in fact we have not had a real summer now since 2006. In aviation weather terms 2008 was truly awful, the fact that the jet stream keeps getting stuck to the south may just indicate that there is something going on with the climate.

I was using this at the beginning of June and it was more a less bang on for where we are now.
