RIAT 2006 revisited

Decided to have a look through my RIAT 2006 photos and redit some of them - many of these have never seen the light of Photoshop before. RIAT 2006 was probably the last truly great RIAT for me, with a superb line up and the last with consistently brilliant weather too - with every day having glorious sunshine.

It's alarming how many aircraft types have been retired in the last six years, but I still don't think this thread is worthy of going in the Golden Oldies section. Hope this thread brings back some good memories and also whets the appetite with RIAT 2012 just a few weeks away...

Great shots , was my first RIAT in 2006, very fond memories, no camera just sat and watched the show as a 10 year old

And the clouds, who needs clouds when they are being made by the hornets

This was my first Air Tattoo too - 16, no camera and absolutely gutted considering the displaying aircraft. Still, remember it being a very good show. Love that Canberra take off!
