Coningsby Enthusiasts Day 15th June 2012

Post by Ben Montgomery »

Just the one for now, which I'm quite proud of. It was my first outing with my new Sigma 120-300 F/2.8 OS and Canon EF 1.4x III, so it was more a test day than anything else!

I'll add more when they are edited - the Tornado Role Demo was also rather good (albeit with only one Tornado, the other started the display and vanished - presumably with a technical issue).

I've noticed that hosting this image on my site seems to introduce quite a lot of compression, so I'll try and get that sorted at some point too.

Many thanks for your kind words everyone, it's greatly appreciated!

Neville - nope, no compatibility issues. Autofocus is still very fast and accurate, I don't really see any quality issues (apart from tiny amounts of Chromatic Aberration in the corners on high contrast photos), and the sharpness is still better than my 100-400 I think.
