'Tante Ju' at Norwich !

I hope this is the correct place for this ? But this afternoon we, at Norwich, were pleased to welcome this amazing old aircraft ! Stopping overnight as part of a long crossing from Canada to Switzerland.
If my information is correct ? one member of the crew may be a bit of a 'celeb' !! more of that later .... a few of my photos for now ....

I spoke to OT northbound this morning. Norwich to Wick then onto Vagar in the Faroe islands. So sounds like it may be the opposite direction. Whose the "celeb" then?

Nice pictures. Saw it as it flew over the sea to do a touch and go at Leuchars. Stated that they were 3 Swiss AF pilots

Oh dear ! humble pie to be eaten !! I got all of my information the wrong way around, this visit is on the west going flight to the US, it left NWI this morning at 10:00 heading for Wick and onwards ...

The crew, on the return journey, sometime in August, will be joined by Jeff Skiles who as you all know was the co-pilot in an Airbus that made a supurb landing onto the Hudson river some time ago !!

Well this afternoon I was in 'Tinks Diner' he served a nice range of tea, coffee and humble pie ! all forgiven now ??
