Fairford 1995 - More pictures added

Here are a few pictures from Fairford 1995 even though the subject has been probably flogged to death! With such a variety of participants, it was difficult to select a small number to post.
As is usual with my posts, I've tried to select the more unusual participants and not the usual suspects. There seems to be a tanker theme that year and I've tried to reflect this although I haven't posted any pictures of the many USAF KC-135's. Also of interest is the Finnish Hawk, RN Sea Devon and Saudi and Italian Tornados. The Italian AF Tornado F.3 was leased from the RAF while they waited delivery of the Typhoon.

Couldn't go that year but managed to see the Slovak contingent heading home from Fairford during their stop at Bruggen. Amazing to see two MiG-29s and a An-12 on the deck at Bruggen!

Or could it have been 1996?

Oh great, so I have seen a flying Mosquito in my life then!!! I remember standing by barriers at the southern apron when the P-47 started up - flames and god knows what everywhere from the exhaust. I was only 13 at the time!

Always thought it looked a bit odd with the RB199s.

There was indeed a tanker theme that year, as well as the end of the second world war as could be expected. As far as the tanker theme is concerned, it's interesting to see an advert in the programme (£5.00 back then) by Boeing for a 767 tanker/transport and a 767 AWACS.
