No way will you be able to go through the crash gate from Rhymes, and as you say it's a long walk around the end of the runway.

they do

It was either last year or the year before people were driving across the runway, I was already in the carpark when they started doing it.

for obvious reasons it is only for a limited time, maybe until 7.30ish lol. and im sure they do it every year but you pass that way anyway just take advantage if it is if not just make your round to the green car park .

Thanks for the info. Hopefully the crash gate will be open, otherwise it will be a long walk

Whatever happens I don't think that they open after the show.

Just to confirm, that's NOT the crash gate that is next to Rymes Farm, the gate that was opened to relieve some of the traffic congestion going in and out was quite a bit further along towards Marston Meysey.

2 of us spoke to farmer and mentioned our concern at boggy entrance to campsite field(not p&v)it was getting slushy and slippery trying to get out this morning,he said "see how it goes"basically farmer answer,so I'll keep you posted in how bad it gets later on,once further people have churned up the entrance.!

In 2008 he was toeing cars out and charging them apparently.
