Had a wee "jaw drop to floor" moment there when I actually looked at the flying participants list instead of scanning it. Three Norwegian Historic Flight Vampires!

Hoping for a proper Leuchars signature set-piece. With shows getting so similar nowadays you really need those special one-offs that you can only do at a homebase.

Must be official now. Ploughmans gazette [(c) Wallace] aka 'The Courier' has this down as being confirmed by the airshow director.

Hope it's coming up via dedicated sponsorship. The cat's well and truly out the bag with regards to it being too expensive an act.

Listen to Display Frequency episode 3. Cosford (RAF airshow) didn't book it because it's too expensive, without sponsorship. Given last year's 'issues' seeing the Vulcan booked worries me somewhat.

Got to agree about the expense of the Vulcan. Just wonder what we could have had last year if they hadnt [eventually] booked it.

Also seem to remember that it didnt land last year, as it was too 'expensive' for the VOC !!

A rumour on scotavnet a TU-95 Bear on static and a B-52 for the static, i really doubt it myself to be honest
or has somebody got some inside info we dont know about emmm :ninja:
Anyway airshow organisers said it would not have the B-52 back, because it damages runway lights me thinks
As for the TU-95 Bear, as much as i would like to see this at Leuchars, no chance there, hope am proved wrong though
All the best Dougie
