Number 3 for me Nige,the spacial compression really makes that PIRATE sensor look like the afterthought that it is.

........But (mostly but not all) uncropped on a full frame sensor, so no different to what anyone else could do with a 400mm on a cropped sensor!

Was there on Friday lunctime for a bit. Just packed up and was in the car when it came round and went on a full performance take off (only one I saw do it). Bugger...
