Wow, great set of photos - and those fabulous skies make them instant materpieces. Not even an airliner vapour trail to spoil it.

Cheers everyone!

There will be more from the Gripens in day two, I left early on day one! I also got some shots of them on a normal day so they will be coming.

Cheers Rob, even though it was hot, hot, hot the next 2 days were cloudy with scattered showers

That display F16 is stunning, love the unusual placement of the smokewinders.

People are different I guess, to me this is pretty much as bad as it can get, an awful paint scheme, and to top it off they hang the smokewinders in a weird place

I agree, I'm not a fan of the paint scheme personally..... On the plus side - it has blue and white in it though rather than Canary yellow and green

I don't mind the paint scheme, but then again I am never a fan of paint schemes anyway!

No I love it too, Was in my element when I was there but only went to museums! Still nice bits though, and the random aircraft on road sides is great too. Do you have any more of the Mil-8/17's at all?? :)

Not too much, but I will be posting the arrival, I got to know one of the crew quite well so there is scope to get more at Lop Buri in the future

You've done it again! Brilliant mate and still jealous as I need to pay that country a visit at some point, but way too busy! What's with the civvie 'spam can' creeping in and were you on the beer a bit too much? Some funny angles there, think you caught some of those as you were trying to stand up straight after too many the night before (LOL)

Really nice though mate, may see you soon???
